The current key persons, including some of the original founding partners of KemoTech, have more than twenty years of experience in the areas of synthetic chemistry, material sciences, nano-technology, dispersed systems (i.e. foams, oxides and polymers dispersions, emulsions), and the applications of these systems in different fields (innovative materials, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, surfaces treatment and modification, paints).

The technical and managerial expertise of these key persons has been acquired both in industrial and academic environment. Scientific and applicative expertise is highlighted by more than 200 international published papers and more than 30 international patent grants, as well as by different research and development projects developed and managed by the founding partners.

Paolo has more than twenty years of experience in Research and Development projects concerning chemical sciences, particularly in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, and Material Sciences, with a strong expertise in Intellectual Property procedures. He is author of ca. 50 publications and co-inventor of more than 30 international patents.

PhD in Chemical Sciences and Technologies. She is co-founder of KemoTech and senior researcher at the Institute of Chimica del Riconoscimento Molecolare, National Research Council, Milan, Italy. She has more than fifteen years of experience in the synthesis of small molecules and peptides. Monica is author of ca. 70 publications and co-inventor of two international patents.

PhD in Chemical Sciences and Technologies. He is co-founder of KemoTech. Matteo holds a Personal Chair in Medical Technologies at the University of Aberdeen (Scotland, UK) since 2009 and a Senior Researcher part-time position at the Institute of Chimica del Riconoscimento Molecolare, National Research Council, Milan, Italy. He is author of ca. 170 publications and co-inventor of five international patents. Matteo is an expert of bioorganic synthesis, drug discovery, and PET radiochemistry and imaging.

PhD in Chemical Sciences and Technologies. He is Senior Researcher at KemoTech. Marco has more than ten years of experience in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry. He is author of ca. 15 publications concerning organic chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry.

He is graduated in economic and business sciences. Alessandro has more than ten years of experience in financial management of small enterprises, as well as in the financial statement of research and development projects.

PERSONNEL

Five PhD researchers and one administrative staff member are currently employed by KemoTech. The personnel is based at the KemoTech site in the Building 3 of the Scientific and Technological Park of Sardinia (Pula, CA, Italy).
The research activities are carried out also within the frame of external collaborations with consulting experts normally operating in academia and other public research institutions.
